Frequently Asked Questions About Q-Nails
What nail services does Q-Nails offer in Elizabethton?
- Q-Nails provides a comprehensive array of nail services. This includes basic manicures and pedicures, along with specialized services like gel polish, acrylic nails, and intricate nail art. They aim to provide complete care, so most customer needs are met.
Do I need to make an appointment or can I walk in?
- While Q-Nails accommodates walk-ins, appointments are highly recommended to secure your preferred time slot and minimize any potential wait times. Customers have noted that scheduling ahead ensures the staff can dedicate ample time to crafting the desired look without feeling rushed. Best to inquire directly for current availability.
How often should I get a fill for acrylics?
- The frequency of fills for acrylic nails depends on the rate of nail growth, but generally, it's recommended to get them filled every two to three weeks. This helps maintain the structural integrity of the acrylic and prevents lifting, which can lead to damage of the natural nail. Consistency with maintenance is key to the longevity and health of your nails.
Local Tips for Visiting Q-Nails
Nail drying stations have improved, but Elizabethton salons still recommend leaving 20 minutes for full cure time.

I’ve tried other places in Elizabethton through JC and there’s no place like this one, there very sweet people, you can joke around with them, affordable and does an AMAZING job every single time I’ve went! Will always go to them 1st before another place!

I've came here a few times, once for full set manicure and pedicure for an event I was attending. Both workers were polite and friendly. Area was mostly clean. The first time, my nails were ok. I did notice one hand was a little longer than the other and two nails lifted, but not that noticeable. After two weeks I accidentally broke one of the nails off. I spent close to $100. I went in for my second visit for a fill in and change color on toes. Much better job and I was very happy. They were not super busy, and just as polite as before. I spent $65 for fill in and toe nail color change. Third time I came to remove the acrylic and have a paint job on my hands only. I love Sarah and the man here. So friendly, intelligent and welcoming. Very happy with them. Times have changed. I say this because last time I had nails done, I paid no more than. $50 for nails and toes. I don't blame the business as it's the average cost in the area in today's time, I blame government inflation. Anyways. Overall pleased with their work, attentiveness and appreciated the conversations with both workers. Thank you.

This place is amazing sometimes when I go at nine in the morning there’s a line waiting out the door this is how good they do nails their powder is really fresh I’ve never had nails break off and if I go anywhere else I always end up regretting it they have amazing colors and this is the new technique of Cat Eye i got the male nail person did to my Nails. Really affordable compared to a lot of other places too and this is how acrylic nails should look.
